Born on September 13th, 1930 in Bruntál. Comes from a German-Jewish family. Due to their Jewish origins, her parents and she were driven out of their native village Leskovec nad Moravicí in 1938. Her family survived the war at their relatives' house in the Beskydy mountains, her father was interned in Terezín in 1944-1945. Most of her German relatives were displaced to Germany in 1946. She got married, finished her medical studies, lives in Olomouc.
